After a week-long WrestleMania in the city of neon lights, Las Vegas is turning up the volume and not turning back as the world’s largest and most electrifying Rockabilly event storms into town! Welcome to Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend 28, where the heart-pounding rhythms, gleaming classic cars, pin-up glamour, and vintage thrills collide for four unforgettable days.
Since its debut in 1998, Viva Las Vegas has evolved from a niche celebration to a full-blown cultural phenomenon, drawing greasers, punk rockers, pin-ups, and vintage ol’ school lovers from across the globe. Now held annually at the vibrant Orleans Hotel and Casino, VLV has become the Mecca of nostalgia, attracting over 20,000 attendees each year eager to revel in the timeless magic of a bygone era.
Get ready to move, shake, and twist! This year’s lineup features an arsenal of powerhouses, including headliners like IMELDA MAY with DARREL HIGHAM, LES GREENE, SI CRANSTOUN, TIM POLECAT and so many more. With over 75 bands gracing the stages across multiple venues, every guitar riff and stand-up bass slap promises to transport you straight to a sock-hop fever dream.
Nothing screams Ol Skool like the Viva Las Vegas Car Show. Featuring over 800 pre-1963 classic rides, this jaw-dropping outdoor spectacle is one of the most revered car shows in the world. As hot rods and classic cruisers gleam under the desert sun, live music from a dedicated outdoor stage keeps the energy crackling all day long.
Prepare for glamour, tease, and artistry as the Miss Viva Las Vegas Burlesque Competition showcases some of the world’s finest modern burlesque performers. From the Pin-Up Beauty Academy to the exhilarating Pin-Up Contest, the festival bursts with timeless beauty, sophistication, and fierce retro flair.
Tattoo culture takes center stage at the Sailor Jerry Tattoo Lounge, hosted by the legendary Stedfast Tattoo Parlor. Whether you’re getting inked on the spot or just soaking in the flash and talent, the Tattoo Lounge is a buzzing hive of creativity and rebellion, true to the rockabilly spirit.
VLV 28 is more than a festival — it’s a full-immersion experience. Daily tiki pool parties, Burlesque Bingo, dance lessons, a vintage fashion show, and a massive vendor marketplace featuring over 120 vendors selling retro clothing, accessories, records, and memorabilia ensure there’s something thrilling around every corner.

Popular radio during the 1930s and throughout the 1940s included live coast-to-coast radio transmissions of “big bands”, or dance bands. These live remotes were held mostly in hotels, ballrooms, restaurants and clubs. During the war years, it was expanded to include military bases and defense plants.
