Jason DeVore Sets to 'Turn It Off' from Upcoming 'Til The Voice Goes Out'

Arizona punk mainstay Jason DeVore, best known as the frontman of Authority Zero, is gearing up to unleash his fourth solo album, "Til The Voice Goes Out," on June 7th, marking another milestone in his musical journey.

DeVore's solo endeavors have long been celebrated for their fusion of diverse musical genres, and "Til The Voice Goes Out" promises to be no exception. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of influences including rock 'n' roll, folk, punk, reggae, classical, and gospel, DeVore crafts a sound that is both innovative and deeply rooted in his own unmistakable style.

The album, to be released via Double Helix Records/SBÄM/Caffeine Bomb Records, features a stellar lineup of collaborators. Bob Hoag, known for his work with bands like The Ataris and The Format, co-produced, co-engineered, and mixed the majority of the album's tracks, while three-time Grammy Award-winner Tom Lord-Alge lent his mixing expertise to the opening track and lead single, "Turn It Off!" Grammy Award-winner Jason Livermore mastered the album at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado, adding his seasoned touch to the final product.

In a statement about the album's first single, "Turn It Off!," DeVore shared his thoughts on its creation and message. "’Turn It Off!’ is about slowing down your mind and trying to turn off the constant mental infiltration of static, propaganda, indecision, and just all around clutter," DeVore explained. "The longing for peace of mind." DeVore's solo work has always been marked by its raw energy and infectious rhythm, and "Turn It Off!" is no exception. With its high-octane rock energy, the track serves as a fitting introduction to what promises to be a bold and dynamic album.
