The Lookout Set to Release Debut LP ‘I Know The Future’ on October 18

Get ready for the future, because Montreal’s femme-forward punk dynamos The Lookout are gearing up to drop their highly anticipated debut LP, I Know The Future, on October 18. The album will be released via Thousand Islands Records, with Bearded Punk Records handling European distribution, marking a major milestone for the band as they expand their reach across the globe.

The Lookout has already made a name for themselves in Montreal and throughout Quebec’s punk scene, having released three EPs independently over the past several years. These EPs, produced by renowned producer Ryan Battistuzzi (known for his work with Malajube, Les Shirley, NOBRO, Yesterday’s Ring, and more), helped shape the band’s fierce, melodic sound, blending high-energy performances with sharp, socially-conscious lyrics. Their dynamic live shows have earned them spots at some of the most prominent festivals in Canada, including ’77 Montreal, Osheaga, Osisko en lumières, Festirock, Envol & Macadam, and Pouzza Fest. Along the way, they’ve shared the stage with several iconic punk acts, gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting live bands in the scene.

With I Know The Future, The Lookout is set to solidify their place in the punk landscape. Featuring a collection of punchy, high-energy tracks driven by infectious melodies and a no-nonsense attitude, the album promises to deliver what fans have come to love about the band — fun, fast, and fearless punk rock.

Known for their playful yet powerful stage presence, The Lookout has built a devoted fanbase that can’t get enough of their electric energy. The band is fronted by the charismatic Martha Rodriguez on vocals, with Simon Sarrasin on bass and vocals, Nicolas Poissant on drums, and François Chartrand on guitar. Together, they deliver a sound that’s as tight as it is raucous, leaving crowds buzzing long after the last note.

Word on the street is simple: The Lookout is FUN! With the release of I Know The Future, they’re ready to take that fun to an even bigger audience.

Mark your calendars for October 18, and keep an eye out for tour dates following the album release. I Know The Future will be available on all major streaming platforms, and for those who still appreciate physical formats, vinyl and CDs will be available for purchase through Thousand Islands Records and Bearded Punk Records.
