The Gamblers Ignite Dancefloors with ‘One More Time’ EP

The Gamblers are here to shake up the scene with a scorching set of brand-new singles, bringing Boss Reggae energy straight to the turntables! The band has just released three limited edition 7” records—Tonight, Boom! Boom!, and One More Time—each strictly pressed in a one-time run of only 250 copies. Vinyl collectors and reggae lovers alike won’t want to miss this!

Each release features an original Gamblers song on the A-side, while the B-sides pay tribute to reggae and soul classics. These include Let Your Yeah Be Yeah, penned by the legendary Jimmy Cliff and first recorded by The Pioneers, Sufferer, the haunting classic by The Kingstonians, and You Keep Me Hangin’ On, the timeless Motown smash from Holland-Dozier-Holland, immortalized by The Supremes.artwork: the gamblers one more time one more time single

The Gamblers are the brainchild of Mark, frontman of the long-running streetpunk powerhouse Booze & Glory. With a deep love for Caribbean music—especially rocksteady, calypso, and the golden era of Boss Reggae from 1968-69—Mark saw the need for a dedicated reggae outfit. After dabbling in a short-lived reggae project two decades ago and more recently experimenting with reggae-tinged Booze & Glory tracks alongside Vespa & The Londonians, the time was right to go all in.

Teaming up with a skilled lineup of seasoned musicians, The Gamblers bring a fresh yet deeply respectful approach to the genre, channeling their inspirations with authenticity and passion. These first studio recordings, helmed by producer Misiek, capture the raw energy of a modern band deeply immersed in the spirit of classic reggae. While Mark himself acknowledges that The Gamblers don’t aim for “pure” early reggae replication, their music is a heartfelt tribute to the infectious rhythms and soulful vibes that defined the era.

Don’t sleep on these singles—once they’re gone, they’re gone! Grab a copy, turn up the volume, and let The Gamblers set your speakers on fire!
