Racketeer Radio KFQX The New Golden Age of Radio
Good evening, headline hunters and riff rollers! Straight out of Charlottetown, PEI, comes TeethOut, a skate punk outfit that’s already making waves with their debut EP, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is. Released via High End Denim Records, this five-track punch-to-the-gut is the kind of raucous, reflective rollercoaster that has both punk purists and fresh ears perking up.
TeethOut may be newcomers, but they’ve wasted no time in carving out a space of their own. With catchy melodies and lyrics that cut straight to the quick, their sound is as infectious as it is raw. Produced and mixed by Shawn Taggart at Hog Audio and mastered by label mate Remy Verreault, the EP captures the pulse of a band that wears its heart on its sleeve and its angst in every chord.
What’s on the menu, you ask? Lead single Streetlights sets the tone with an anthemic energy, while Down on Queen offers a nostalgic sing-along for anyone yearning for simpler days. But it’s Cancel Me that delivers the sharpest bite, a track that doesn’t pull punches when it comes to society’s messy contradictions. Each track is a different flavor, but they all share the unmistakable energy of a band ready to make their mark.
The band’s not stopping at studio success, either. With a string of live shows lined up for early 2025 and a music video in the works, TeethOut is proving they’ve got more than one way to get in your head.
So there you have it, folks—a debut EP that dares you to press play and keeps you hitting repeat. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, because TeethOut’s ride has only just begun.
