Back and Ready to Roll—literally. Teenage Bottlerocket have announced their brand-new full-length album, Ready to Roll, set to drop September 12 on Pirates Press Records. It’s the band’s first LP since 2021 and marks a fresh chapter while staying true to everything fans love about TBR: fast tempos, catchy hooks, and zero pretension.
“This record came out of a place of just wanting to write songs that felt good to play,” the band shared in a recent statement. “No big agenda—just loud, fast, and fun in the way that’s always felt right to us.”
Recorded at The Blasting Room with longtime collaborator Andrew Berlin and mastered by Jason Livermore, Ready to Roll is a celebration of friendship, fun, and punk rock purity. The album is full of the no-nonsense, high-energy anthems that have become TBR’s trademark, with some unexpected surprises thrown in for longtime listeners.
The album’s lead single, “She’s the Shit,” is already streaming on all major platforms and Bandcamp. Inspired by singer/guitarist Ray Carlisle’s real-life relationship with his wife, the track is a goofy, affectionate love letter that sets the tone for the whole record. “It kicks the door open,” Ray says. “Fast, catchy, and not taking itself too seriously. Just the way we like it.”
Visually, the record leans into a brown and gold color theme—a nod to the band’s Wyoming roots—and will feature wild vinyl variants and collectible packaging, thanks to the vinyl wizards at Pirates Press. “They’ve pressed vinyl for half the punk scene,” the band said. “Now they’re handling Ready to Roll with that same passion and precision.”
Though the band is rolling with Pirates Press for this release, they made it clear their bond with longtime label Fat Wreck Chords remains strong: “Nothing but love for Fat. We’re proud of everything we’ve built together.” To celebrate Ready to Roll, Teenage Bottlerocket are hitting the stage for a few key dates this year—including two must-attend punk rock events. First up, the band returns to Las Vegas on Friday, May 23 for a Punk Rock Bowling Club Show, where they’ll tear through their new material and classic hits in front of one of punk’s most devoted festival crowds. Then, later this summer, they’ll head northwest to headline Fourth Corner Punk Fest 2025 on Saturday, July 26 in Bellingham, Washington—an all-ages event that’s quickly becoming the Pacific Northwest’s coolest punk rock secret.
Between the high-voltage single, the Pirates Press partnership, and their upcoming shows, Ready to Roll promises to be a new chapter for the band that never stopped having fun.
Catch Teenage Bottlerocket on the road, grab a limited vinyl copy in September, and, as always—stay fast, stay fun.
