Ravagers Unleash ‘On The Loose’ with A Savage New Chapter

Baltimore’s ferocious punk rockers, Ravagers, are back with a vengeance. On April 5th, 2025, the band will release their highly anticipated new album, On The Loose, through Spaghetty Town Records in the U.S. and Wanda Records in Europe. It’s a record that embodies the chaos, attitude, and raw energy the band has spent nearly a decade perfecting.

Ravagers—comprised of Alex Hagen (vocals/guitar), Matt Gabs (guitar/backing vocals), Sam Hariss (bass/backing vocals), and Ray Peters (drums)—have built a reputation for their unrelenting punk fury mixed with glam rock swagger. With On The Loose, they push their sound into darker, more dangerous territory. Their latest singles, Razor Love and Right to Kill, are already making waves, and today marks the release of their newest single, Dogs, a blistering anthem about survival in a hostile world.

“We wanted this record to capture the feeling of being backed into a corner, with no choice but to fight back,” says frontman Alex Hagen. “There’s a lot of personal experience in these songs—stories of violence, survival, and the reality of life in the underground.”

The album kicks off with Public Hell, an incendiary opener that rails against those who seek to control and suppress. Razor Love follows, an intense dive into the dangers of a psychotic relationship, while Total Crime reflects the struggle of becoming a product of one’s environment. The newly released Dogs takes inspiration from crime waves of violent dogs loose in Hagen’s neighborhood but ultimately serves as a metaphor for survival in the streets. No Tomorrow No Problem offers a nihilistic anthem for those who feel helpless in a collapsing world, while Poison Rite paints a vivid picture of blind initiation into dangerous groups or gangs. Other standout tracks include Night of the Bastard, a snarling tribute to the destructive power of alcohol, and Right to Kill, which explores the sinister consequences of power and justified violence. Meet Your Maker flips the script on fear, presenting an unshakable force that answers to no one. The album closes with Wicked Bones, a haunting tribute to a friend lost to addiction and life on the streets.

Produced once again by Tuk Smith (Biters, Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts) and Dan Dixon (PLS PLS), On The Loose builds on the foundation laid by their well-received 2022 release, Badlands. With a revitalized rhythm section featuring Sam Hariss on bass, the album’s sound is heavier, tighter, and more relentless than ever. Hagen’s vocals cut through the mix with razor-sharp intensity, delivering lyrics soaked in the grim reality of street life and rebellion.

As the band prepares to unleash On The Loose, fans can expect a record that refuses to compromise. It’s loud, unapologetic, and built for those who live on the edge. If you are in the EU – RAVAGERS are heading your way and get your tickets today!
