In a thrilling return to form, legendary punk rock band The Offspring has released their latest single, “Make It All Right,” delivering the high-octane energy fans have come to expect. The track serves as a poignant ode to the unwavering support of a “partner in crime” who stands by your side through thick and thin. The single marks the first release from the October 11th release date for the bands’ upcoming album, ‘Supercharged‘.
Lead vocalist Dexter Holland shared insights into the creation of “Make It All Right” and the band’s forthcoming album, “SUPERCHARGED.” “We wanted this record to have pure energy – from the start to the finish! That’s why we called it SUPERCHARGED. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now,” Holland explained. “Our single ‘Make It All Right’ is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right.”
The Offspring’s journey in producing “SUPERCHARGED” took them to three diverse locations: the serene beaches near Maui, the vibrant cityscape of Vancouver, and their home base in Huntington Beach. Working alongside renowned producer Bob Rock, the band aimed for and achieved a sound that Holland believes is their best yet. “Everything came out awesome. I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and headbanging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!” he enthused.
With over 45 million albums sold worldwide, The Offspring’s legacy as pioneers of the southern California punk rock sound is firmly cemented. Their discography, spanning over ten studio albums, showcases a relentless drive and passion for music. The band’s current lineup features Dexter Holland on lead vocals, Noodles on lead guitar, Todd Morse on bass, Brandon Pertzborn on drums, and Jonah Nimoy on percussion. Each member brings their unique flair to the band’s dynamic and ever-evolving sound.
“Make It All Right” captures the essence of The Offspring’s signature style while lyrically exploring the profound impact of companionship and solidarity. This single, coupled with the promise of “SUPERCHARGED,” heralds a new era for the band, one filled with the unbridled energy and heartfelt storytelling that fans have cherished for decades.
As anticipation builds for the release of “SUPERCHARGED,” The Offspring continues to tour and connect with audiences worldwide, proving once again why they remain an iconic force in the punk rock scene. Fans old and new can look forward to an album that not only reflects the band’s storied past but also celebrates their enduring spirit and camaraderie.
