Headlining the tour are Boston’s own Dropkick Murphys, whose raucous Celtic punk sound has been igniting crowds for over two decades. Joining them are the legendary SoCal punks Bad Religion, known for their razor-sharp lyrics and anthemic energy that helped shape American punk. Rounding out the lineup are the rising stars The Mainliners, whose gritty, high-speed sound is quickly gaining momentum with new-school and old-school fans alike.

Together, these three bands promise a night of raw energy, rebellion, and unity — a true punk celebration for the discontented masses.

Circle your calendar for Wednesday, July 24th, when the Summer of Discontent Tour hits a key stop that’s got us at Racketeer Radio KFQX buzzing. This date is more than just another show — it’s a full-blown punk rock event where die-hard fans will collide in a mosh of sweat, pride, and screaming choruses. Expect singalongs, fists in the air, and enough energy to shake the venue walls down.artwork: dropkick murphys who'll stand with us? who'll stand with us? single

Fueling the tour’s fire is Dropkick Murphys’ brand-new release, For the People, which hit streaming platforms and vinyl stores Friday, July 4th. The album is a return to roots, blending their trademark blend of bagpipes, gang vocals, and working-class fury with more reflective songwriting and powerful themes. ‘The Vultures Circle High” features the ol’ gang back together as the vocals are capped off with Al Barr, after stepping away in 2022 to care for his mother.

Who’ll Stand With Us? – The album’s incendiary lead single, backed by a powerful music video depicting forced disappearances in the U.S., urging unity and pushback against inequality. As well as a cover of Ewan MacColl’s song featuring folk-punk icon Billy Bragg. For the People sees Dropkick Murphys at their socially conscious best — stirring up punk passion, embracing personal memory, and issuing a banner-raising declaration for unity and resistance. It’s both a deeply personal record and a fiery manifesto for today’s world.“This record is for the workers, the misfits, the fighters, the families trying to get by. ‘For the People’ is exactly what it says — it’s for all of us.” says Ken Casey.

The vinyl will be available, October 10, 2025 featuring five bonus tracks unavailable on streaming
