ska/power pop revivalists Catbite are back with a bang, announcing their highly anticipated new EP, Doom Garden, set for release on May 9 via Bad Time Records. Produced, engineered, and mixed by illuminati hotties’ Sarah Tudzin, this six-song collection promises to be the band’s most ambitious and electrifying work yet.
Adding to the excitement, Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump and Sweet Pill’s Zayna Youssef lend their vocal talents to the project.
The first taste of Doom Garden comes in the form of the scorching lead single, “DIE IN DENVER,” now available on all streaming platforms. Accompanying the release is a Scooby-Doo-inspired slasher music video, directed by longtime collaborator Shibby Pictures, delivering a blend of campy horror and ska-fueled energy that perfectly encapsulates Catbite’s playful but punchy style.
And the momentum doesn’t stop there—Catbite is set to embark on their biggest headlining tour to date, bringing along Rodeo Boys and The OBGM’s for the ride. As if that weren’t enough, they’ll also be joining the second leg of Less Than Jake’s ‘Summer Circus’ tour, sharing the stage with ska-punk legends Fishbone and The Suicide Machines.
With Doom Garden on the horizon and a jam-packed tour schedule ahead, 2025 is shaping up to be Catbite’s biggest year yet. Tickets for their headlining tour go on sale Friday at 10 AM local time—don’t miss your chance to catch this powerhouse band in action!
