German skate punk sensations Heathcliff have released their brand-new single, offering fans an exciting glimpse into their forthcoming album. Known for their melodic yet technically intricate sound, Heathcliff has firmly established themselves as standout indie acts within the skate punk scene.

This new single represents a global collaboration, being released via four labels:

SBÄM, the band’s home label in Germany, Pee Records in Australia, Double Helix Records for us here in the states, and Bearded Punk Records in Belgium. The worldwide reach underscores Heathcliff’s growing international acclaim and their mission to bring their unique sound to audiences across the globe.

The upcoming single has a unique backstory rooted in collaboration and reinvention. Originally composed by guitarist Stef for his former band Avenal, the track was brought into Heathcliff’s fold during Stef’s transition to the band. Facing the challenge of learning a repertoire of songs quickly, the band decided to include some of Stef’s earlier compositions in their live performances.

The decision paid off: upon revisiting this particular track, the band fell in love with its composition. “Why not Heathcliffanize this piece and put it on our new record?” they thought. With Stef’s approval, Andy infused the song with fresh melodies inspired by the band’s love of mind-blowing metalcore riffs. The result? A catchy, powerful tune addressing the world’s persistent problems and showcasing Heathcliff’s evolving direction.
