Song quote: It’s frustrating to know intellectually that a situation is golden, and then have your brain focus like a tractor beam on the sliver of negativity in it. This song is speaking to that inclination to find the drawback in a perfectly good situation. Instead of it being a depressive “woe is me” take on it, the song aims to poke fun at this proclivity, not take itself too seriously, and hopefully be made aware of this machination so we can attempt to dispel it.
