The Briefs Mark 25 Years of Punk Mayhem with New 7″ Release and West Coast Tour

Like a molotov cocktail hurled at the bland alt-rock scene of the early 2000s, THE BRIEFS exploded onto the punk landscape 25 years ago with their debut album Hit After Hit. Now, a quarter-century later, these bleach-blonde Seattle troublemakers are still setting stages ablaze, continuing their streak of chaos from Las Vegas to Berlin.

Fresh off a scorching summer 2024 European tour, THE BRIEFS show no signs of slowing down. Armed with their latest 7″ release on TKO Records, High Society b/w You Can Move Me, they’re proving that punk isn’t dead—it’s just getting weirder. The new 7″ drops digitally on October 18, 2024, offering fans another dose of the band’s high-energy, tongue-in-cheek brand of punk rock.

Fans can expect the same frantic energy that has made THE BRIEFS a staple of the punk scene since the late ’90s. Their signature sound—equal parts snotty vocals, machine-gun guitars, and punchy, rapid-fire hooks—has remained as infectious and rebellious as ever. Twenty-five years may have passed, but punk rockers like THE BRIEFS don’t age—they just get weirder, baby.

Following the European tour, the band is gearing up for a West Coast tour this fall, bringing their anarchic spirit back home to the States. So, get ready to dust off your old leather jacket and pogo into the night, because THE BRIEFS are back to remind us all that punk is still alive and kicking.
